Abstract:

Weather impact on a building construction schedule is often significant in cold regions. Most deterministic scheduling methods are unable to directly account for the effects of weather and other probabilistic factors on a schedule. This paper presents an alternative solution by introducing a simulation model which can quantify such effects through a probabilistic approach.
