Abstract:
Numerous three-dimensional hydrodynamic models have been developed in the last two decades. The developers of each model have used their own methods to verify the codes before applying them to complex water bodies. No 'standard' procedure has been developed for the verification of a three-dimensional hydrodynamic model. This paper presents five analytical methods that could be used in a verification procedure.
