The Sellafield Repository Project as Seen by the Public?A Comparison of Research Techniques

by P. J. Curd, UK Nirex Ltd,

Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: High Level Radioactive Waste Management 1993

Abstract:

To see one's organisation through the eyes of others, to monitor that view and to amend it if necessary, is the primary role of the public relations and public affairs function in an establishment. But it is often tempting to make hopeful guesses or optimistic assessments of inadequate opinion research findings. At best the latter can give a snap-shot glimpse of average opinion on an average day.
