Modeling Guideline for Air Quality Analysis of Intersections

by George J. Schewe, Environmental Quality Management, Inc, Cincinnati, United States,

Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Transportation Planning and Air Quality

Abstract:

Model evaluations have been performed testing eight different models for the ability to estimate carbon monoxide near intersections. These evaluation results along with the need for updated guidance on how to apply models to mobile sources at intersections have lead to the draft publication of new guidance. This report describes the background of model evaluation and introduces features of the draft guidance for modeling intersections.
