Abstract:

In Northern Adriatic Sea between Venice and Triest, a new Marina, designed by the Author, has been built. In it 281 boats, with L.O.A. varying from 10 m to 25 m, are moored in the harbor and 277 boats, with L.O.A. varying from 7.0 in to 12.0, are stored on dry. Both storage areas (wet and dry) are provided respectively with wharves and bridges, in order to get on board the boats at proper level. Water and electricity supply, fire extinguishing equipment, ladders and waste disposal are provided in both areas. The transportation and launching of boats by Boat Hoist takes in average 20 minutes. The annual prices of dry storage launching always included, is cheaper than the price of wet storage.
