Abstract:

A two-dimensional depth-averaged numerical hydrodynamic model of the Bristol Channel and Severn Estuary has been developed to investigate the effects on water quality of existing and new sources of pollution from outfalls to the sea and also the changes which might occur as the result of building a Tidal Power Barrage.
