Abstract:

A great challenge for the coming years, if not decades, will be the repair, renovation and renewal of the existing sewerage systems in the Federal Republic of Germany in the interest of ground water protection and their adaptation to the more stringent water protection regulations. A multitude of methods for rehabilitation are available but also new concepts for the creation of functionally safe sewerage systems which above all are easy to maintain, as described in this article.
