Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Dynamics of Structures

Abstract:

Cut-outs are unavoidable in some of the plate components. To minimize the plate weight, in the meantime, to maintain the critical buckling load as high as possible is one of the major topics in plate design configuration. However, the problem of optimum cut-outs on plate stability is still rather sparse. It is the intention of this study to pursue further development of the technique in this field of structural engineering.
