Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Dynamic Response of Structures

Abstract:

The classical method of separation of variables in conjunction with the Green's function of the vibrating plate is used to obtain the solution of the free vibration problem of the mass-loaded rectangular plate. The stationary response of the system to stationary Gaussian excitation is determined by the normal mode method.
