Abstract:

The potential of resolubilization of radioactive cobalt from cobalt sulfide by humic substances present in landfill leachate was investigated. Equilibrium and kinetic studies on the potential of resolubilization of cobalt with a well characterized swamp humic acid and leachate samples from a pilot-scale simulated sanitary landfill were discussed.
