Abstract:

The Research Institute, Education Foundation and Publishing Company of the National Water Well Association have long been considered information central for the world's community of hydrogeologists. Under contract to the US Environmental Protection Agency's National Center for Ground Water Research, NWWA's Library has been transformed into a sophisticated, computerized data base which to date includes 35,000 literary citations indexed in 23 fields of information. Research groups, libraries, universities, private consultants and industrial firms can become regular users of the Library for a one time fee of 100 which includes the assignment of an access code, a user manual and personnel training.
