Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Materials and Member Behavior

Abstract:

Polymer concrete (PC) has been used extensively in the United States primarily as a repair material for portland cement concrete. The excellent flexural and compressive strength durability and bond to portland cement concrete have made it a very attractive repair material. There has also been considerable interest in PC for structural applications. This paper discusses flexural, shear, and cyclic behavior of reinforced PC beams and flexural behavior of unreinforced sandwich beams with PC facings.
