It applies particularly to engineers practicing as consultants and acknowledged, to a greater or less degree, to be skilled and expert by education and by length and character of professional service in the line for which their services are desired by their clients. Topics include general considerations, contracts for service, general methods for computing charges, special cases, related subjects, and rates.
