Abstract:

Watershed management education at the University of Arizona is described and discussed in the perspective of other educational programs, and national and international activity. The Watershed Resources Program, in the School of Renewable Natural Resources in the College of Agriculture, began in 1958 as a Department of Watershed Management. BS, MS, and PhD degrees are offered, with emphasis on arid and semi-arid lands and associated water concerns.
