Abstract:

Using the modified DRASTIC and existing and newly surveyed data, groundwater pollution potentials for all 10 groundwater basins in Taiwan were calculated on 2 km by 2 km grids. This paper explains how groundwater pollution potential was calculated and depicted. The paper also shows how such results can be used for the preliminary design of an islandwide groundwater quality monitoring network.
