Abstract:
Advances in database management technology lead application developers to consider new implementation options such as Object-Oriented Database Management Systems (OODBMSs). Current OODBMS software is evolving, and no standard language nor specific set of features exists for all systems. This paper compares applications modeling using two OODBMSs. The purpose is of this paper is to investigate modeling features in emerging OODBMSs and to provide application developers with insight for making the best schema design decision.
