Abstract:

Geo-environmental projects are becoming increasingly complex requiring rigorous mathematical computation and analysis of large amounts of data. This paper looks into how a geo-environmental database management package combined with computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) system can be used to automate design of complex major civil engineering projects.
