Abstract:

Space availability on a construction site can have a major impact on the efficiency and constructability of a project. Especially when space is limited, tradeoffs between activity sequencing, construction method selection, resource allocation, and space allocation are necessary to generate an executable schedule and site layouts. This paper presents a model for time-space tradeoff given an activity schedule.
