Abstract:

Wind tunnel studies on the Owensboro Bridge are described in this paper, including 1:50 scale sectional model tests and 1:160 scale aeroelastic model tests. Comparisons are presented and discussed between the aeroelastic model tests and the sectional model tests. Also discussed in this paper are tests on the various bridge construction stages.
