Creep Analysis of Composite Steel-Concrete Members with Deformable Connectors

Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Structures Congress XII

Abstract:

The long-term analysis of composite steel-concrete beams with elastically deformable connectors is presented. The basic integro-differential equation governing the problem is solved by means of the Fourier series technique together with the Reduced Relaxation Function Method for which a simplified approach based on an algebraic form of the creep constitutive law is proposed. The obtained results and the level of accuracy are then widely discussed.
