Abstract:

As the world becomes a true global marketplace, the ramifications of this change is felt in all aspects of business. Products and services from around the world are beginning to appear in markets previously considered inaccessible. Discussed in this paper is the relationship between business success in the '90s and Research and Development. Also discussed are some of the barriers and business imperatives that impact that success.
