Abstract:

Connecting Baytown and LaPorte, the Baytown Bridge is a twin structure with four traffic lanes each. Its structure is designed as a cable-stayed bridge with concrete towers and composite girders. The software TANGO was used for all construction engineering analysis and aerodynamic investigations of this bridge.
