Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Engineering, Construction, and Operations in Space IV

Abstract:

Mining the moon for materials that can be used for the advancement of space research would be very profitable. It would be necessary to develop equipment for mining. There would be a need for suits to work on, lasers to fragment rocks, machines to carry rocks to be processed and machine to process these materials. With further research, excavating lunar rocks could greatly help a colony living on the moon.
