Part of: Finite Element Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Structures II
Abstract:
In recent years, practicing engineers have begun to use nonlinear finite element methods to design and evaluate increasingly complex concrete structures. This chapter presents several of these applications from the work of design-oriented engineers in Japan , America, and Europe. It is hoped that this material will provide guidance to engineers contemplating application of nonlinear finite elements to other types of real-life concrete structures.
