Abstract:

European standardization is carried out within the framework of CEN (European Committee for Standardization). The development of standards for underground pipe renovation is taking place on different levels within CEN in accordance with mandates from the EEC (European Community) and EFTA (European Free Trade Association). An ambitious work programme has been adopted for standards dealing with renovation with plastic pipes.
