Abstract:

A channel verification program has been initiated by the US Army Engineer District, Los Angeles to determine the hydraulic roughness of flow in a concrete channel. Specifically, this study focuses on the effective roughness of concrete with supercritical flow. The purpose of this paper is to present preliminary results of this channel verification program.
