Abstract:

Overall water availability and acceptable carrying capacity seem to be at their limits today in Italy. A specific procedure aiming at minimum streamflows analysis and evaluation has been developed in the frame of ENEL-CISE research activities to face the recently adopted System of Laws and Rules relevant to hydrographic basin planning. A model aiming at evaluations of the proper share of the hydrological resources among different possible uses has been implemented.
