Abstract:
This paper discusses magnetic levitation (maglev) transportation technical requirements and methods of capturing associated requirements. Possible architectures and components of a domestic maglev network are introduced. Aspects of the development and implementation plan including schedule, recommended roles and responsibilities, and cost/benefits are reviewed. Finally, the paper addresses research and development technical, institutional, and financial, challenges.
