Abstract:

Computer graphics and computer-aided drafting (CAD), as well as manual graphics and descriptive geometry, are successfully taught to civil engineering sophomores. The paper presents the development of the course contents and selection of the CAD software. The selection process for the software and the definition of the course contents require a number of compromises and iterations. The paper presents the experience gained in the development of the course.
