Abstract:

This paper discusses the current status and plans for the development of the Field Operations and Carriage segments of the Transportation System of the Civilian Radioactive Waste Management System (CRWMS). These segments are being developed using a systems engineering approach to ensure proper integration of these segments into the CRWMS. The Field Operations segment interfaces with both the Carriage segment and the Purchaser facilities. This paper focuses on the development of these segments and the related interfaces.
