Abstract:

A new methodology for numerical simulation of 3-dimensional turbulent flow based on the use of a Galilean frame and the finite point method is presented. The pressure field of the solutions simulate wind loads on structures. A simplified model that characterizes three dimensional structural vibrations induced by wind loads is presented.
