by Ario Ceccotti, Univ of Florence, Florence, Italy,

Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Structural Engineering in Natural Hazards Mitigation

Abstract:

In the present paper the importance of the dissipated energy on the actual structural behaviour of low-dissipative structures as glulam portal frames with mechanical fasteners under seismic actions is considered accordingly to the format of Eurocode 8, the European code for Structures in seismic zones.
