Abstract:

Shotcreting is broadly used today as an excellent lining system, which enables to assure rapidly the stability of excavated rock surface. This system however leaves room for improvements upon such as adhesion to rock surface, early age strength, rebound and generation of dust. The paper deals, focussing on the dust suppression among these subjects, with results of measurement of dust concentration in the vicinity of shotcretig site in tunnels, under several work conditions.
