Abstract:

This study presents the results of the hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of the 103-square mile Hillsboro Basin located in South Florida. The purposes of the project were to develop a hydrologic and hydraulic model capable of assessing the current flood problems in the basin and to use the model to develop a basin rule to reduce the likelihood of additional flood problems because of future land use changes.
