Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to present a methodology to administer the withdrawal of ground water from a basin where stream-aquifer systems are hydraulically connected. The administrative scheme is set up to maximize the amount of ground water pumpage within the basin subject to meeting a specified probability of maintaining the senior surface water rights within the basin.
