Abstract:

A new anisotropic noncoaxial incremental constitutive model for granular materials (Jahedi et al., 1990) was developed, in which a Fabric reconstruction factor '?⁺', was incorporated. In this paper, the Fabric factor '?⁺' is further enhanced in order to offer more flexibility to the model, and to better fit the statistical data and related probability density functions.
