Abstract:

Both governmental agencies and private developers use the information developed in a traffic impact analysis (TIA).Traffic Impact Studies can be an important tool in efforts to maintain an acceptable standard of living. This paper describes the elements that a transportation database should include and how components of the database are used in the preparation of a TIA.
