Abstract:

The paper discusses the development of recycling existing bituminous runway pavement by pulverizing into aggregate base course. To best explain the design, construction procedures and materials used, a case study on the reconstruction of Runway 9-27 at the Goshen Municipal Airport, Goshen, Indiana. A short construction history of the runway pavement is presented.
