Abstract:
This paper is intended to bring to light the necessity to meter electricity that boat owners use. We will discuss the theory and components that go into electronic meters. The economics and benefits of designing the marina electrical system to include meters and the rewards. State-Of-The-Art remote reading makes billing electricity as easy as pushing keys on a computer. The sub-metering laws and utility billing methods vary from State to State, so the following information is a sampling of norm and may not apply to your specific location.
