Abstract:

One of America's most significant waterfront communities is faced with complex problems regarding the preservation and enhancement of its maritime and waterfront heritage. To address and meet the ever increasing parameters for contemporary waterfront development an experienced, multi-disciplinary approach is required which includes legal, economic, urban planning and waterfront design expertise with a working knowledge of waterfront dynamics. This unique expertise is necessary to fashion the most appropriate regulatory controls to ensure the most viable and balanced use of the waterfront.
