Abstract:

Construction operations produce substantial amounts of data resulting in seemingly growing amounts of paperwork for construction personnel. Not much can be done to diminish the amount of pertinent data, but new technologies such as radio frequency (RF) offers exciting possibilities for more efficient construction data management. This paper discusses this technology and how it can be utilized within the construction industry.
