Abstract:

Partnering between the owner, architect-engineer (A-E) and construction contractor creates an environment which facilitates the successful completion of quality construction. Each participant has an important role to play and the focus of this paper will be a perspective by the Corps of Engineers on the construction contractors' responsibilities with regard to providing, in a partnering mode, quality control and inspection services.
