Abstract:

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulations require that the discharge of toxic pollutants to the waters of the United States be controlled. These regulatory requirements have made the use of high-rate diffusers an alternative to the additional treatment of the discharge. A method to meet these regulatory criteria using diffusers is discussed.
