Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Hydraulic Engineering

Abstract:

The capabilities of empirical modeling techniques are discussed and three promising mechanistic models to simulate sediment-water interactions are reviewed with respect to their possible use during waste load allocation. Data requirements for each model are presented along with appropriate field and laboratory measurement techniques.
