Abstract:

The capabilities of the flow and transport modules that make up FASTCHEM are described. The linkages among the various modules that are required to achieve a hydrogeochemical analysis are presented. Hydrological and geochemical input data requirements of the code are defined. In the event that the extensive input data requirements cannot be met, alternative approaches to accomplishing an analysis are discussed.
