Abstract:

This paper describes the project design concept, highlighting the choice of turbine type and capacity. Model testing and analysis of control by downstream gate is an important feature of the project and is discussed. Some results of turbine tests during commissioning are discussed as well as index tests, not yet completed when this paper is being written.
