Abstract:

This paper demonstrates how remedial action alternatives for a Superfund site can be evaluated using a health-risk basis. The case history for this demonstration is a Feasibility Study (FS) for a site in central Delaware performed by Environmental Resources Management, Inc. (ERM) of Exton, Pennysylvania. This study enabled comparison between risk reduction and cost for various levels of remediation.
