Abstract:

The California State Department of Water Resources (DWR) is evaluating the feasibility of adding Water Banking programs to the State Water Project (SWP) to augment its delivery capability and reliability. This paper presents a 'risk curve' procedure for the SWP operations; also a brief analysis of the results of planning operation studies under two banking programs is presented.
