Abstract:

A rate-independent, anisotropic model for Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Materials (FRCMs) is presented. A continuum damage/plasticity model for the concrete and an effective fiber model for the fiber contribution are outlined and then combined in a mixture approach. The mixture model reproduces the important experimental phenomenon of the plain material and FRCM. Comparisons between the model's predictions and experimental results for plain and fiber reinforced materials show good agreement.
