Abstract:

This paper describes a new finite element scheme for solving the time-dependent incompressible viscous fluid flow expressed in terms of the Navier-Stokes equations. The main feature of the present scheme is the treatment of the Neumann boundary conditions for the primitive variables, especially the normal gradients of the pressure field. Details and the validity of the present scheme are shown in following sections.
